I redeemed for the MyCokerewards option on the MyCokeRewards web site and got the electronic certificate on March 15th, had 3 paid stays March 19,20,21 at 3 different hotels, bud did not receive the confirmation email from MyCokerewards@hilton.com until 3/20. No 40K for me. I was told I now need 1 more stay The email says "stays have to be completed after coupon has been
redeemed." When is the coupon "redeemed"- after I receive the electronic certificate from MyCokerewards on 3/15 or after I receive the confirmation email from MyCokerewards on 3/20?

I had the same problem. It's after you receive the e-mail from HHonors (if you receive one). Redeeming the certificate at the mycokerewards site results in a message being sent to HHonors to add the correct promo code to your account. Based on my experience in redeeming a 40K award and three 5K awards (two last year, one this year), it seems to take anywhere from a few days to two weeks after you redeem before the promo code is attached to your account.

I forwarded the original email to MyCokeRewards@hilton.com and got a confirmation within a few days. I have a question, do you need to wait till you redeem your certificate and are in possesion of your points before you buy another 5,000 point certificate from MyCokeRewards?

Try sending them the redemption email that you received immediately from donotreply@mycokerewards.com. That worked for me last summer in a similar situation.
Send it to mycokerewards@hilton.com.

PS - I just hunted up the email from them dated August 25. I sent an inquiry at 6 a.m and they posted the points before noon same day.

I was able to get my 5000 HHonors points back in November. I redeemed the award on 11/19, but did not get the email from HHonors that the promotion was added to my account until 11/27. I hit reply to mycokerewards@hilton.com and mentioned that I had 3 stays in the last week. Would I need additional stays after 11/27? Jose Ramos replied a few days later that they posted my 5000 points.^
