Air New Zealand Air Points - More Prem Economy for the 744 ?

Just read on airwhiners.net :p that the 744 will be getting 8 more Y+ seats and loosing 15 Y seats.

Haven not seen this anywhere else but the poster has a great reputation.

So now I assume there will be a nice Y+ mini cabin downstairs as I guess they will remove rows 31-35 HJK seats. So this now make the 744 even more attractive with the addition of more pairs of seats for the single or couple traveller.

Any news on changes to the 777 3 abreast in PE ?

I think that is an old report..... They have already installed the extra 8 seats downstairs, unless they are doing the otherside of the plane?

Yes, it seems they are reconfiguring the 744s PE from 31 seats to 39. I can only presume the other side of the lower Deck - opposite to PE - will now also be PE. A very good move.

No they are defaintely talking about 8 more Y+ seats, and as I said I assume on the right hand side of the plane.

Again, as i said :), will make a very nice mini cabin!

Crossing fingers they do somethign with the 777, 2-3-2 and a few more rows perhaps :)
