I was seeing where my wife and I might take our next holiday and discovered on the Hilton website that Hilton plans to franchise a hotel in Toledo, Spain.
Hilton, for whatever the reason, has since removed reference to that hotel on its website, however. The address that was given after a little sleuthing appeared to represent a new build, not a change-over of a branded hotel, or an independent hotel that would now assume the Hilton name -- as happened in a number of properties in Italy.
I have, however, found this document that discusses the hotel that will be joining the Hilton portfolio. It sounds really quite nice, given that it is a reovation of a historic structure!
