So I didn't exactly know how to search for this in a previous thread, so sorry for the new one if it's a duplicate:
Looking at the HH bonus points page at <http://www.frequentflyerbonuses.com/hhonors.html> I see that in PR there is a promo for double points using plan code "EV" between now and 31 March for the Caribe Hilton. I just found out I need to travel there so of course I'm all excited for double points. Trying of course to milk the 500 bonus points for OLCI booking at hiltonfamily.com too. :D
When I try to book online I get the error message that this rate is no longer available. I have a few questions:
1. Is "plan code" (listed on ffb.com) the same fill-in as "promotional code" (listed on hilton.com)?
2. Am I SOL on this promo since all those rates are gone, or do I have a chance call call calling? Do I call the hotel? The DD?
3. Any other way to weasel this promo for me?
