I have had a claim approved for a BRG. My question is does the stay qualify as an eligible stay and do I get the usual gold benifits as well as points on the reduced rate?
I am also a little apprehensive because the amended confirmation I have recieved does'nt say what the new rate is just that is a BRG rate. Spg says take the email from them to the hotel and they will adjust it at check-in. Does anyone have experience of this?

Thanks in advance.

Don't worry, I always get all the benefits I am used to - and I make use of the BRG quite frequently

I did a BRG last year as a gold. You get all the same benefits, points, stay eligibility as normal. Generally however, I have found they adjust the rate ahead of time, so I'm not sure what to make of the "take it to the hotel." How soon is your stay?

Thanks for the replies. The stay is not until May. It has been a little frustrating trying to get the information I want from starwood. They say the rate is fine but its a little like they don't understand what I'm asking. I have asked 4 times for the confirmation to explicitly say the rate includes tax and service. It still doesn't but I guess I'll try my luck at the hotel.
