No. It does still there on the schedules SEA-JFK redeye. I don't think B6 is not taking away for redeye. I think consideration B6 is kept the flight.

If you look on September 26, you will see that the evening flight from JFK that usually leaves about 7:40 is not loaded into the system. They are only offering the mornin flight leaving at 8:55 AM..........so once again, does anyone know why?

I don't know what happened to them.

I'm not sure, but what I do find odd is that jetBlue is only taking reservations for travel through 9/4/07....not 9/26.

It might just be a scheduling glitch. I know that an extra daytime flight is added for the peak summer seasonbut during the rest of the year, it is the night flight both ways - 83 out and 86 return.

The JFK-SEA redeye is almost always full so I don't see it leaving other than a scheduling error. We recieved no notice telling us of the scheduling changes but I will see if I can find out more when I commute in for work tomorrow.

Thanks, I really appreciate your help. The wife and I have to get there for a wedding that week and we need those flights.

If you *have* to get somewhere for an event you can't reschedule, don't rely on the last flight of the day getting out. Go a day early. (2 days early on Jetblue.)

The wife and I have to get there for a wedding that week and we need those flights. Given the events of the past few weeks, don't you think it is unwise to rely on JetBlue to get you there just in time for a wedding?

Book the day flight... a day earlier than you're thinking.

I like how people want to help but don't have the answer for my original question.

I want to fly out the night before. The wedding is the following evening. If we fly out on the day flight the day before then we BOTH miss work for no reason (You may all contact our bosses to ask for an extra vacation day). If we fly out morning of, then we are really risking it.

I know and appreciate that you are all trying to help but let's focus people!!!!!

As someone who works for a living too, I'm sympathetic to the issue of vacation time. However, you're missing the point - flying out the day before is not "missing work for no reason." You're missing work so you can ensure you get where you're going before a hard deadline. It's not pointless.

By all means, take your chances on the redeye if you're a gambler. (I'm sure it's staying on the schedule - it operates at or close to capacity year-round.)

I've had this flight cancelled on me twice in the last 2 years, though, and seriously delayed (2 hrs+) more times than I can count. It's the best coach product between SEA and NYC in every way except reliable, on-time performance. (Delta does a much better job in this respect.)

I have been flying the JFK-SEA evening flight for about 9 out of the last 12 months. Never had it cancelled and only delayed more than 2 hours once. Luckily business has calmed down that where I don't have to fly that route that often.

I am already missing 2 days of work, to have to miss a 3rd for no reason that we know of right now is what is pissing me off. I can obviously take the morning flight and miss a 3rd day but why???? Where the hell is the flight

Ah, Playsmart, take a look at this:

JetBlue JFK-SEA-JFK Sept. 26/Sept. 30

Out Sept. 26: JetBlue 175 Lv JFK 855a Ar SEA 1204p
Back Sept. 30: JetBlue 176 Lv SEA 105p Ar JFK 924p

Total Fare: $373.80

Delta JFK-SEA-JFK Sept. 26/Sept. 30
Out Sept. 26: Delta 597 Lv JFK 705p Ar SEA 1035p
Back Sept. 30: Depta 1893 Lv SEA 1210p Ar JFK 830p

Total Fare: $263.81

So... why are you bothering with JetBlue? Especially when the Wednesday evening departure you want is not even loaded in the B6 system, DL is more than $100 cheaper, and DL's JFK-SEA aircraft all have PTV?

I am 8 points away from my 5th true blue ticket (Finding it impossible to use unless you book the SEA flights right when they are loaded in.

But thank you for finding that quote.

190s struck again

Unfortunatly I was unable to get to BOS to work my trip or try and find out why the evening flight was not listed for the 26th, but listed for the 24th. I am working a redeye turn tomorrow night so I will ask then, but I know that you really want to book the flight so I sent out an email to Route planning asking them if it was a mistake or if the route was being reduced. I should hear back shortly, depending on how busy they are and I will post the response here.

Ok, I got a response from Route Planning. In years past the evening departure has struggled with loads after labor day during the months of September and October. So this year planning decided to cut the evening departure on Tuesday and Wednesday during this period, unfortunatly is exactly when you need to travel. I know it will be a pain but if you still wanted to travel jetBlue you could connect in BOS, which would prolly be an extra step that is not necessary.

I hope that helps you out and answers the question at hand.

PS. Way, way, way, way off topic, but can TrueBlue points be transfered between accounts?

Thank you jetblueFA. It is nice to know that someone still cares. Unfortunately I will probably be flying Delta this time around and be stuck with the award tickets. I would like to write to B6 about this though and not having a constant schedule. Should I use the speak up link online or do it another way?

Thanks again

Speak up is the best way to go.

Yes and no. Individual TrueBlue POINTS cannot be transferred between accounts. However, an award (100 total for r/t) can be booked in anyone's name.

Wow, this puts a crimp in my travel plans. These planes are always packed... I don't understand why they would jeopardize this popularity by taking 2 flights per week off the schedule. They face heavy competition from DL and AA on this route.

Anyone know if they're cutting down on the PDX flights as well?

Well, apparently they are not packed on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

With the withdrawel of the Tuesday and and Wednesday flights, How is this going to impact the #of pax going out on Mondays and return to JFK on Thursdays?

The company is starting to built a schedule that sends aircraft where they are needed. Unfortunatly that means eliminating the second departure during the months of September and August because of poor loads on the tuesday and wednesday travel days.

It just seems weird that they take away the flight that is there all year round and keep the morning flight which is only around during the summer,

Still waiting for a response from speakup by the way.

As per the schedule on the website, starting this summer there will 2X daily flights (one day time, one evening/redeye). After Labor Day, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays the evening/redeyes will not run.
