Starwood Preferred Guest - Lurker - Results/Action of our Suggestions on FT?

Starwood Lurker: I'm curious (as I'm sure others are too) as to what the results/actions are planned based upon the suggestions that we have all made here in the last few months i.e., the "monthly sticky". Any activity e.g., offering free or at least reduced cost HSIA? on these items? What is done with the information and when might we see some "activity" around what we've suggested?
Thanks!

Well, the information goes into this black hole...never to be seen again. ;)
Seriously, though...I'm sure that the folks that get your feedback are grateful to hear the voice of the customer; however, I doubt that we are ever going to publicly hear many details of what they have planned (or not planned) to offer in the future until they are ready to release it into the wild. It's all about keeping things close to the vest to maintain a competitive advantage in business, you know. :)

Thanks for your response.
Umm. . no offense, but since Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn, HGIs, and others already provide FREE HSIA in the rooms (or wi-fi access) I'm not quite sure I see where *wood has any "competitive advantage" here. As a matter-of-fact on this issue it would seem the opposite.

You probably would want to compare apples to apples here. The Four Points brand has free internet, which arguably would compare to the lower end chains that you mentioned.
Thanks for your response.

To be fair I dont think that the Hiltons or DTs in other words HHs Full Service Hotels gives HSIA away for free , nor does the ES brand. From the Marriotts Ive been in and Renaissances neither do they.
So we cant hold SPGs feet to the fire on this one IMO, but it would be great if they led the way and made the others Copy them.
