Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Lost Luggage compensation , do you know the real rules ?!?!

Last February I took a flight to TXL connecting in MUC and (as often happens) my luggage did not get the connecting flight and was left in MUC .
I went to the Lost Baggage office and the LH agent come immediatly towards me when they saw my SEN card (leaving about other 10 travellers at the counter ...) and gave me 300 Euros in cash for the delay .
My luggage was delivered at the Hotaly about 2 hrs later .
In march I was on the way to MAD and again connecting in MUC , the evening flight was not even full and the gate agent was very unfriendly and forced me to leave my trolley at the aircraft because "there was already too much luggage in the cabin" , I tried to tell her she was ridiculous (as many people had 2 pcs. and much bigger than mine) but she didn't give up and , as I was already K.O. , I accepted , got a hand written tag and left my trolley directly at the aircraft .
My trolley never appeared in Madrid and I had to fill in the usual papers and the LH office in Italy did the rest for me .
The wanted a lift of the items in the luggage and the total amount was over 1.200 Euros (only the TUMI trolley is worth about half of the amount).
After 3 months the file has been closed and the luggage has been finally considered lost by LH and they refunded me about 200 Euros as they were presuming that my hand luggage had a weight of ca. 10 Kg. and that is the official compensation .
Finally , in February I got 300 Euro for a couple of hours of delay , and in March I got 200 Euro for my lost luggage .
Should I complain for that ???
Why this difference ???
Tnx

You've got 300 Euro in cash for a delayed piece of luggage, in cash, over the counter, w/o asking, just because of your SEN card ??? Seems like you're a lucky guy ...

The IATA rules state clearly "$20 per kilogram". Since you're only allowed to have an 7kg cabin luggage piece, you'll get still more than you deserve. For sure, you can address your complaints to LH and you'll get probably more, but the rules are clear.

Don't you have an insurance coverage for lost and // or delayed luggage ?!

You may not be familiar with the fact that if you own a home you can very often claim lost luggage on you home owners insurance policy, based on the value of the items lost.
