I just found out that my UA MP CC was compromised and that my CC was used for several transactions at 3 different WalMart in Florida on March 7th while I am in Asia!

Now what would these transactions at WalMart prompt me to suspect Alamo? Simple: I had rented a Mini-van at LAX through Alamo back in June 2006 and have had no other activity with them since then. So it was strange when I noticed that there was a sudden credit of $0.99 from Alamo into my account on March 5th, 2 days prior to those transactions at Walmart. This is a common tactic used to test whether the CC is still an active account. And since the credit came directly from Alamo, it leads me to suspect that the individual or individuals involved are related persons at Alamo or who have access to their system. In either case, I am advising fellow FTers to be vigilant and check their account. Off course I have taken the steps to close my account, flag the 3 credit bureaus, file a police report and notify any auto-debit to my CC.
