Will be in transit in TPE for 2-3 hrs. How is the CX J lounge in TPE? Food? Computers? Showers?

Mini-wing (complete with mini noodle bar). So yes, yes and yes to your questions. F lounge is at the back (usually empty so much quieter).

I don't recall there's ever been showers in TPE's J lounge.
There might be in F but I'm pretty sure not in J.

Any other Oneworld lounge in TPE that has shower facility? If there is, will I be able to get in with a CX J boarding pass?

The F lounge section does not have its own bathroom facilities, so no shower there.

Its one of the nicer non-HKG CX lounges in the system. Good food, computers, good size.

CX is the only Oneworld airlines serving TPE. CX lounge is the only Oneworld lounge. BA and AA used to serve TPE but withdrew years ago. :( I would try my luck at SQ SKL if I were you. ;)

There is a snack/beverages bar and noodle bar in J section. Normally chinese dim sum/snacks were offered. I was inside the F section once(waiting for CX451 to HKG). There's fry rice,which is not available in J section,but only at the F bar. 8 computers were available in the F lounge. Washrooms are located near the entrance (J section). Unfortunately,I didn't notice any showers there. In addition,the computers in J section were normallly out of order from my experience.

I don't remember there being showers, but there are plenty of computers. There's a bank of them near the entrance of the J lounge, with another set in the F section. I was there a week or two ago, and all the F computers were taken, and in the J section there were at least three defective ones.

If you like the noodle bar, food will be good. Otherwise it's nothing special. I usually have some nuts and a glass of wine.

Yes, this is exactly what I am doing this evening, I am going to have noodles in the TPE lounge before my flight to HKG. The portions are small, but you can have as many as you want.

CX is in Terminal 1.
SQ is in Terminal 2 and I saw no showers there either.
They are the two best lounges at TPE.

The computers are in neither lounge. They are on the left after you go past the main desk in a sepetae computer area. There is free wi-fi if you have your own computer.

I was in TPE transiting to NRT from HKG in Decmeber and there were about 3 computers in the F lounge.

I was at the lounge last Sunday. It was a bit busy in the evening time but CX should look into their service staff's attitude. The noodle man must have been overloaded, he worked like a robot without any word, any smile; seems that getting that small bowl of noodle from him is a sin. :mad:

There are free public showers next to the transit desk on the lower level before you go through security but after arriving from another flight. Bring your own towel and soap as there are none provided.

How about Japan Asia airways' lounge in TPE? I heard it will join with One World too with JL after 1 April.

Will CX J customer use this lounge too? CX and EG are both in the terminal one of TPE.
