I was looking online for fares to NBO, and an american airlines flight paired with jetblue appeared as an option. Can these two codeshare? who which airline would i contact to make such a reservation? Can jetblue codeshare with british airways? what about South African and Emirates. Thanks!

I think you have the wrong JetBLue. There is also an African JetBlue...I think that's what you mean.

no, it was the US jet blue because the flight was from JFK to MSY...MSY being my home airport. So I wanted to see if i could get MSY-JFK with B6 and then the JFK-NBO sector with a codeshare partner on the same ticket

B6 doesn't codeshare or internline ticket with any other carriers today. There was some discussion a few weeks ago about adding AerLingus as a partner, but it ended up being more of a co-marketing effort and not a real codesharing agreement.

I see some routings that involve B6, KL and AA, but you'd definitely have to go with a paper ticket to mix the carriers, and you will likely have to collect luggage at JFK and re-check to get to the next set of flights.

And the AA flights between LHR and NBO appear to be BA operated, if that matters to you.

No, You need to go another terminal when you arrive in JFK. You need to pick up the bags at baggage claim before you take on the airtrain from terminal 6 to terminal 4. Because B6 does not have codeshare yet for next connection international flights. You will need to get re-check in ticket counter before you leave from JFK.
