Any recommendations for non-exit row Business Class seat on the 747-combi?

I believe that is the aircraft serving ICN-ORD

Thanks!

row 7, if you can get it. Front of the bus, so no-one reclines on you.
but I always go for exit row, row 11 (which you don't seem to want) 11 AB is the better side.
All other rows are reclined upon.

Thank you, ethelman. I was told by the rez agent that exit row wasn't available. I will try for row 7 or 11.

Thanks!

Well, my opinion would be that until OZ upgrades their 747 fleet, the best seat in business class would be on another airline ! Just my 2cents worth ...

Having flown FRA-ICN last week, I now see more clearly where you're coming from LHR-ICN on 747 was fine, but mainly because of flight timing (for me, anyway). Because FRA leaves at 6 pm, you don't feel tired enough to sleep, I guess. Whereas 9pm from LHR(=10pm DE time) means that by the time you're fed and watered, you can sleep much more easily.

I guess C OZ on 747 is akin to VS Prem Econ, whereas on 777 it is a good C product

Agreed.

TG for example sells their old J seats on the Scandinavian routes with their 7442 config as premium Economy and the old F seat as Business class. This makes perfect sense. The old OZ 777 J seat is more or less ok whereas the new seat is just fine.
