What gives.... I was pricing out Enterprise for a road trip I'm taking at the end of March and this is really pissing me off:
second week of March, compact car $104++ (the damn fees are like $100 ...)
third week of March, compact car $120++ (what the hell with all the fees?)
last week of March, compact car $165++ (why did I book this week I don't know?)
Can anyone suggest what is happening here, I thought march was supposed to be slow? Should I wait till the day before to book at possibly reduced rate, or am I SOL because there is something happening in Phoenix at the end of March that I'm not aware of and now I'll be paying more for the car rental than I paid for the airline tickets?
Please help if you can.... I'm looking at Enterprise primarily because my school's alumni ID waives the under 25 fee (or so it did in NY) I'm a few months away from my 25th birthday and I really can't afford to pay $20 a day for the damn fee.
thanks,
