Hi all,

Just wanted to check whether any of you have had issues concerning the extension of membership year? I rang MPC asking for an extension which they kindly agreed to.

What concerned me was rather than physically altering the membership period, the agent only offered to put a note under my profile. She expressly told me that the points will be reset once official membership period comes to an end. The burden lies with me to ring up in between the "unofficial" grace period for manual reinstatement of my supposed attained tier.

From previous threads, I seem to recall that the agent will actually extend the membership year itself.

So...the question is: Which is the norm?

I normally email MPC and they are really fast in replying (less than 1 week) and then I got the confirmation in email so when I reached the required level I just forward the email to MPC and they will sort out the rest. I have been doing this for the past few years and had no problems

I've gone this route before. While it was annoying to drop to Gold for 3 weeks, it all worked out in the end.

Can the extension be as long as four months? Has anyone had any success beyond three months?
