Apparently Neeleman still doesn't get it...this article appeared today in newspapers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Unreal. That arrogance is certainly undermining their business model.

Before we start throwing around insults, lets remember that this article is just showing one side of the story. None of us were there, so we dont truly know what occured. Also, it always seems like when events like this occur, that there are a few people who seem to use it to enjoy "15 minutes of fame". Something tells me that could quite possibly be the case here.

Looks like it is time for her to find something productive to do with her life. It is so ridculous the stupid things people take on as crusades in this country.

She may have been going in with an open mind, but what exactly was she looking to get out of the meeting?

If you read the article close enough, you'll see she was looking for compensation. Thats where it says the meeting soured, when compensation was brought up. This woman really waisted what could have been a very productive meeting. Instead of using the time to try to come up with real solutions to prevent what occured, she had to be more concerned as to what she would get out of it.

Sorry...I missed that. I read the article a little too quickly (obviously). I agree. she did waste a great chance to make the JetBlue experience better. Some people just love taking that victim's mentality a little too far for compensation.

It sounds like the blogger in the article was chasing fame and compensation, not clarity.
But look at the press that resulted anyway.
B6 has to recognize that the "uber-storyline" on JetBlue, the conventional wisdom jointly created and supported by the mainstream media, has changed completely in the last 30 days... to "incompetent, dismissive, unable to cope." Every story written about JetBlue in the next little while will be carved to stuff into that pigeonhole.
