okay my wife and I are traveling with 2 friends who do not want to spend the same amount that we do or are choosing not to spend 300+ on a hotel room in april. We are saying at the sofitel, based largely on reccomendations from tripadvisor.
I am trying to find another hotel, very very close by that is perhaps smaller, less well known, close to times square, and hopefully on the east side of times square so that we can all mostly hand out together and be able to share cabs and the like.
I find lots of them on trip advisor from the paramount, etc but none have very good reviews unless you pay 300+.. any ideas? they don't need the bar in the hotel, nor restaurant, nor anything else, just clean rooms.
