I know they have been copping a lot of flak lately but I just wanted to comment on my positive experience with Jetblue customer service for a flight I have booked from BOS-JFK. They have gone out of their way to assist when I found out that the fare had dropped substantially over the fare that I had paid. Well done Jetblue!

I'll add a thumbs-up for B6. I was in LGB last night waiting for a flight to IAD. There was a flight scheduled to go to ORD that appeared to be into the 4th hour of delayed departure due to equipment problems. The gate folks brought out cases of soda, juice, water and snacks which they made available gratis to everyone in the terminal. On the other hand, the terminal at LGB, extra-full with passengers from the delayed flight and all others trying to leave around 9:30 was an experience worse than a bus station.

This was the return leg of my first B6 trip and I've got to say the in-flight experience both ways was well beyond what I expected on a $99 transcon fare.....friendly crew, plentiful beverage and munchies service, very comfortable seats with legroom, working DirecTV and XM radio. Good enough in my book to break my addiction to UA miles on the DC-LA run!

I'm glad I reread your post like 5 times because I totally misread it. I guess it's a sign I need to stop doing redeye flight!

Good to hear our gate agents are still giving the JetBlue experience! The aircraft that was having the problems is actually still there. A panel on one of the engine pylons came apart, apart enough to take the aircraft out of service. Chalk that up to an observant pilot or ground crew. Glad both of you had positive experiences and enjoyed the flight! Come back and see us again if you get the chance!

just called to change flights, save money etc. and found them exceptionally helpful and knowledgable. My compliments to reservations! No problems crediting me for fare drop. Just wish all airlines were this helpful and friendly. :cool:
