The reason we left was because we weren't prepared to handle the amount of baggage those customers where checking. The company feels that with the new baggage policies in place we will be in a better position to cope with the luggage.

When company will put onto new policies for checked baggage? It would be least 2 piece checked bags. It would be enough for than 2 bags. It would be not allowed to bring the boxes to SDQ would able too heavies for that. Does Jetblue will be changed under new policies?

The new policy is the 50lb bag limit. Nothing over 50lbs will be accepted for travel to the Dominican Republic

Right. It would be least than 50lbs is good enough but, don't want let passengers is overweight more than 50lbs. B6 would be charges for that of $25 for overweight more than 50lbs.

Very good deals and schedule JFK-SDQ, looks like Jetblue is getting an old customer back since I'll be able to flight SLC-SDQ with only one stop. Question: Why I can't find SLC-SDQ flights in the website, but can find LAS-SDQ or PHX-SDQ flights?

It sometimes could be because the flight schedules from SLC-JFK don't line up well with the flight schedules from JFK-SDQ (and in reverse), though in this case it does seem possible to make the connection in both directions. Hmmmm.

I think you should take on DL is much better to catch the flight to Caribbean flights. You will take on redeye either to ATL or JFK. Because B6 does not have connection flight to Caribbean. :(

I know B6 has competition from DL on the JFK-SLC and out of EWR, both CO and DL run that route. However, I am suprised that B6 doesn't give DL more of a run for their money at SLC. B6 has a corperate office their and it would make for a LCC focus city.

I would think any focus city should have a large amount of people in that area to support a large number of flights to/from that area.
Based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_metropolitan_area the following top areas based on population should be considered for starting flights and maybe even a focus city before SLC.
- Philadelphia
- Dallas
- Atlanta
- Detroit
- Minneapolis
- St Louis
- Baltimore
- Cleveland
- Cincinnati
Salt Lake City isn't even in the Top 25 Metropolitan areas nationally so I wouldn't look for that to be a focus city any time soon. Any of the above cities would seem to make more sense for having a large enough base to begin with. Not surprisingly each of the above cities became a hub for various legacy carriers. SLC is an oddity.

I don't think B6 will ever returns to ATL because B6 has been pulled out around December 2003 due to leak competition with DL/FL. It is largest market which DL is already competitive from ATL-LAX/SLC.
