Found this on jetstream.ch:

After getting rebuffed at talks with airports of DRS, LEJ and ERF, the small regional airport of Altenburg (AOC) made an offer to Ryanair. Possibiliy is for a route to STN.

AOC so far has a regular summer AirBerlin charter flight to PMI. The website also lists Deutsche BA, Eurowings and OLT as airlines but I don't think they have actual flights from there. Altenburg lies between Leipzig, Zwickau, Chemnitz and Gerau.

And how will Ryanair call AOC in their advertising?

I guess for Leipzig (50KM). But Berlin or Nürnberg would also be possible... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

In the case of Hahn Frankfurt is OK, as the "Hahn" is officially called Frankfurt-Hahn.
