Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles (Pre-Alignment) - Promo Codes or Discounts?
Feb 26, 07, 12:45 pm
Does anyone know any current promo codes or discounts? I've been searching and have found a lot that are already expired.
I will be traveling from Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale (roundtrip), leaving April 13, returning April 21.
Or, any insight on if prices will be dropping soon, and if so, when?

What is the current fare?
Feb 26, 07, 1:13 pm
I just looked, the Fare right now is 240 plus taxes, but if you left on a Thursday and stayed till Saturday you could travel for 178 plus taxes
Both flights on Friday (9am and 3pm) look kind of full according to Travelocity so there is a chance that the flight you want might go up
The Hertz code for 10 percent off might still be around, otherwise if you sign up for the Midwest Miles you can get a promo code in that
Otherwise, I think you should wait until the next fare sale, which should be sometime Weds or next Weds

I tried the HERTZ10 code and it was not applicable. My husband and I debated about leaving on a Thursday but decided that with the extra night in a hotel, the extra night of boarding our dogs, and an additional day off work it would come out almost even.
This same flight went from $183 at 3 p.m. yesterday to $240 at 6 p.m. and according to a customer service rep at Midwest it went up to $265 at 6:30 p.m. yesterday (although that was never reflected on the web site).
I signed up for the Midwest Miles yesterday and got an account confirmation e-mail, but did not see any promos in that. Would those be sent as a seperate e-mail whenever they come up?
Sorry for all the questions -- as you can tell, i'm not a frequent flyer!

Okay, first of all most promo codes require a base fare (that's before taxes) to be above $200 for them to be vaild.
So if you're finding fares in the $175-$250 range those are pretty good and not likely to get better.

my base fare is being quoted at 297 right now 314 after taxes and fees

 i just found one CMZ1541 made my flight go from 297 to 279. thank you bowl.com for having a bowling conference. I'm finding the best way to get the code is google the airline name and the word code, and search the results of clubs and organizations holding conferences. They all pick an official airline and work out a package deal,

Mar 6, 07, 9:59 pm
I would wait a week now
Mar 6, 07, 11:38 pm
hey lebowski, why do you say wait a week? I'm trying to figure out their logic (as if its possible) so any info will help. I checked to see what if the flight was a week earlier, and the price is the same. So I think that tells me the flight isnt getting close to booked.
