At airports where there is no *G lounge, will SK give an EBG who is not in business class a pass to the contract lounge?

cheers,

Henry

If business class passengers have access to a contract lounge it's usually the same for EBGs.

Any particular airport you had in mind?

Any particular airport you had in mind?Aberdeen (ABZ). We'll be on the SK (Cimber Air) flight to CPH. According to the airport info, there are two lounges: BA and Servisair.

cheers,

Henry

If C pax have access, so have EBGs

We (myself and my partner) got access to the Servisair lounge at ABZ on my EBG-card a year a go. Certainly not the best of lounges, but when it comes to passenger facilities and general attractivenesss certainly not the most attractive of airports either.

PEK lounge is tricky.
Just flashing your *G card at lounge doesn't work. You need to request lounge voucher at check-in.

If you intend to use *G card and you want to credit to another FFP program, watch out.
Check in agent registers your *G card number to both borading pass and lounge vouncher. Gate agents have generally no skill to change FFP number.

If flying with SAS, I guess you could just let them register the *G card at check-in, get your BP, enter the lounge and then change the FFP on SAS online check-in. I've done that in the past without problems.

Thank you for your advice, I will remember to ask for lounge vouchers at check-in for myself and my partner.

I am not worried about crediting miles to another FFP as I am only a member of one *A carrier and that is ROP*G, so I will credit my miles to that program.
