Some things I don't understand about backups (especially about backing up the registry):
1. Why does WinXP only allow backup to the harddrive or a floppy?
If I'm having problems with my C drive what good does it do to have my system backup files on my desktop?
Who has a floppy drive anymore?
2. I have a 60G iPod. Would that be a good place to use for the 5G that a system/registry backup file needs?
3. The iPod manual has practically no info on how to use it this way. Anybody ever do this? Where can a techno-idiot find instructions?
