When I say "first-class," what one word comes to mind?
Upgrade? Travel? Hotel? Service?
When you travel a lot, you tend to want things better and more comfortable -- better food, better accommodations, better modes of travel and, of course, better service.
In Europe, train travel is designated as first-class or second-class. But the class level doesn't define just the cabin; it also defines the passenger and the level of service.

I so wish service in the air in the US was better in any/all classes than it is today...
