Budget Travel - budget lodging in aca

heading to acapulco for a week next month, 3/17-24. looking for budget place to rest my head. does anyone have experience with sunset beach or etel suites? does anyone have other recommendations?

I was there at roughly those dates last year on the $0 ATL-ACA fare mistake on AA and stayed at the Acapulco Park Hotel (http://www.parkhotel-acapulco.com/ing.html). Looks like a holdover from the 60s, but the inside courtyard & pool are great. It's a compromise between the pricier places & having to stay downtown.

BTW, you may still have some spring-break influence complicating your mission.
