Hi,

I am in a situation tomorrow where I am attending a meeting at the CO PClub in the morning and then heading over to DL for a flight to ATL in the afternoon.

The agent at DL told me that I was SSSSed but I know that CO will not SSSS me, thus I was wondering, since T6 and T5 are connected via the tunnel, can I just get the SSSS removed by DL by simply walking over to the CRC in the afternoon.

What are your thoughts or does anybody know proper procedure?

Thanks,
Dan

I've been in similar situations where I get a BP issued airside with an SSSS. I just board the plane when called and typically no one seems to care about the SSSS.

Usually happens during irreg ops. I.e. I fly NW to DTW, my connection is cancelled, and I then get CO to accept my ticket airside and BP spits out with SSSS.

Only once has it become a big issue and I had to be re-screened by the TSA.

If the BP is issued SSSS airside, I'd kindly ask them to remove it. If you want you can ignore it, see what happens -- if you're not comfortable, just go to the checkpoint for an unecessary re-screening. SSSS is a bloody joke, especially when selectee BP's get printed airside.

Thanks for the advice....the DL agent at CRC removed the SSSS for me....

Again, thanks for the info,
Dan
