I currently have a Windows Mobile PDA. I will be switching to a Treo. Years ago, I had a Palm M515. I switched to windows because it had much better handwriting software, where I could write naturally on the screen and it would translate my handwriting, as opposed to using the graffiti letters.

I know there is software out there for the Palm OS that allows you to write naturally, but I don't know anything about them. If anyone has any information on them, or has used them, I would appreciate it if you would give your opinion.

Thanks.

Check out my posting on MobileWrite (http://palmdiscovery.netfirms.com/nfblog/2005/12/17/essential-app-8-mobilewrite-or-other-graffiti-enhancement-software/) and other similar apps. TealScript is also good and others I've mentioned in the posting.

Are you switching to a Palm OS Treo or a Window's Mobile Treo?

I have installed Grafitti 1 on every palm device that had G2 (currently now a T|X) but quite a few users feel that G2 is a more natural hand writing system. Plus most use the included Treo keyboard for all of the data entry :)

Nice to see you here maceyr :)

Ditto, mp! :D Travel is one of my loves (although I hardly travel anymore but love to know anything about traveling, especially accessories). I figured that I felt quite at home here in the tech forum so I've been here for a while, although not necessarily participating that often. Looks like we both joined around the same time.
