It is currently at 3x a week (while nearby destinations like BLR and HYD are 5x, grr). However, I tried to price out a trip to GIG that I'm scheduled to do in november, so that I could factor it into my travel budget, and was surprised to see a choice of planes 5x a week (no flights on MON / THU).
If I try october 07, I still get 3x a week (TUE / FRI / SUN) so I guess this frequency increase starts Nov 07. Yay, about time too

The increase of CDG MAA to 5 weekly is only one of a string of changes planned for next winter, which will also see CDG SCL increased to daily nonstop, CDG GIG up to double daily, and many more other changes. CDG BLR, incidentally, is already up to daily now, and I'd expect the same for CDG MAA from Winter 2008 onward. HYD is served by KLM via AMS, and will be increased to 5 weekly imminently, and might be going up to daily next winter, although this is not yet sure.
Also in India, KLM will bring its full pax B744 to the AMS DEL route next year, increasing seat capacity over the current B772ER in winter. Summer 2007 will still see the MD11 deployed. Next winter, both AF and KL will, as such, be operating the B744 into DEL.
