I've been Summit with F9 for the last two years, but the DYMTWTU promotion dropped my F9 flights to about 5K miles. I got my new card yesterday, welcoming me to the general membership. :(

Last year I was lowered from Summit to nothing at Frontier. Doesn't surprise me at all, as it dilutes the product for those who earn it. Air Canada sold off their frequent flyer operations (now a separate company) and did increase the actual value of the miles. It surprises me that the US carriers haven't done this yet but they are still to busy going in and out of bankruptcy right now. It would be nice if miles were only earned for flying and keep that stereotypical stupid white male (think the guy from the Pizza Hut commercials) out. BTW, I still keep my expired Hilton diamond card in my wallet and haven't been a diamond in 4 years. My condolences. |
