I was playing with a coworker's Moto Q on Verizon today...I wanted to make sure I could access my favorite websites before buying it, but when I went to flyertalk.com, the whole page just showed up as a big blue box - totally unusable.
Is anyone else able to access Flyertalk on their Moto Q without a problem?
I had a tmo Dash, basically the same problem.

I also read that Motorola is getting ready to release a new Q or rumored "Q Pro" soon.
Problem is that the browser on the Q (and all WindowsMobile) devices make it show itself as an Internet browser and not a full wap browser.

Thanks for the link...I think I will need to avoid Microsoft phones and go for a Palm...but there is nothing like the 680 on Sprint. Oh what to do, what to do :(

The primary issue is with this site, not the Q. The Q's browser doesn't represent itself as a WAP browser because it isn't a wap browser. It is a slightly crippled version of IE. If this site were brought up to accessibility standards, there would be no issues.
It's still possible to view FT on the Q (haven't tried posting, but it should work if the post function isn't dependent on some JavaScript or something). It's just very annoying, that's all.
On the other hand, Opera Mini works great for viewing FT. I use it on my Dash daily.

On these WM phones - if the "Accept Header" key is changed - does anyone have experience with how this will affect (or not) other mobile sites that display well on mobile IE?
