Has anyone heard about Car Trawler?
If you go to www.hostels.com, there is a link to car rental at the bottom of the bage. You can book cars there at some pretty good rates, apparently from well-known rental companies such as Avis or National. Their rates include Collision damage waiver, Standard Liability Insurance, Extended protection (No Excess/deductible), Sales tax, State tax, Airport fees and unlimited mileage, and seem quite low. However, you have to pay a small booking fee and something like a 20% deposit, which will appear on your Credit Card statement under the name CarTrawler. Has anyone heards about them? On their website they say they are "the global dar distribution system".
