I believe you are limited to making only one set of IBM recovery disks but free copies are located on the net or can be bought from IBM. Also if a nice friend has a similar IBM model their recovery cds can be used to add the OS to your computer.

find a phone number somewhere(not easy), and tell them that your rescue set did not come out correct.

they will send you a set of cd's.

alternate:

use Acronis to clone the drive. I presume ghost would do the same thing. you can clone to an external drive with usb port. just takes a lot of time.
