Pardon the double post, but I'm looking for any recommendations on cheap fare strategies for SF Bay Area to Guatemala. Priceline? Any particular agencies, consolodators or discounters you can recommend? TIA for any help.

I won't be able to respond as I'll be FT-less in an hour, but for the rest:
When are you planning to travel? How long do you want to stay??
If you understand Spanish (or even if you don't) check local Spanish language newspapers for travel agency ads--- some may have special deals for unpublished specials. Also check fares starting in LA, if that may work-- although the price difference may not be much
TACA flies from SFO and they have specials on their website taca.com . You can earn AA miles on TACA flights.

Thanks, Viajero Joven. This is for some friends. They want to stay about a week, sometime in the next couple of months. They are very flexible on dates. Their main constraint is money.
