While mentioning it elsewhere I thought it might be worthwhile a separate topic for the benefit of other LP/GP members:
After almost 3 years I finally was able to get a KL business class award US-Europe confirmed:
I sent in a request with a window of 3 days ea. inbound and outbond for a 1 week trip to Europe, ex-LAX. Came back negative, so I resubmitted for ex-SFO and called back ~ 1 week later and WOOOAAAHHH! it got confirmed for outbound Dec 2, inbound Dec 9.
I know I have to buy a rt ticket LAX-SFO, but .....
I had tried KL ex LAX again and again, to no avail. Checking recently the KL network I discovered SFO, which seems to have more availability - good to know for West Coast fliers. I also saw HOU mentioned as a possible alternative, have not tried that (yet).
