Hey guys,
I am tagging along while my father does business in Mexico City next week. I was wondering if anyone could recomend a private guide to show me the city? Ideally for the 2 and 3rd of February.

You do have to be careful, as a guide can steal more than just your time.
I went straight to the hotel, and asked them to refer someone. Generally, guides tend to specialize, and Mexico City is a very large place. Teotihuacan is basically a day trip, and a very interesting one. Depending on where you are staying, you can walk to a lot of the sites, or just take a hotel designated cab.
Just be careful about walking about at night.
Where are you staying exactly?

Ask the concierge at the hotel for a tourist cab (Tursitico cab) I believe.
They are licensed and must be able to speak english. They also have a good knowledge of Mexico City. I booked one from the Sheraton Centro Historico and had a great day seeing the sights!

The turistico cabs are very expensive. If you can speak Spanish, try a sitio cab that you call for. Don't flash a big camera or act nervous, and you'll be fine! DO NOT under any circumstances take a VW beetle cab... They have been known to kidnap people and tour them around the DF to multiple ATMs.
But most of all:
HAVE FUN!:) :) :)
