:) I booked a car online with Enterprise not knowing what to expect.

I used my school alumni association to waive the under 25 fee and got 10% off the rental too.

While Enterprise wasn't the cheapest rate I found, it had the least amount of fine print thats why I booked it.

When I arrived the person at the counter tried to put me in an Economy car even though I booked a Compact. But I reminded him and I got a Chrysler PT Cruiser for a rental in beautiful Vanilla White. I was surprised.

I had the car for less then 24 hours but put about 330 miles on it driving around Rochester and the neighboring area and even going to Niagara Falls Ontario for diner and such. It was great.

I returned to the airport before Enterprise counter opened so I had to use the drop key box. That was a first time I used one of those and was a bit worried they wouldn't claim I did any damage to the car since I wasn't doing a walk around with their customer service rep. So as soon as I arrived home I called them to see everything was cool with the car and it was.

I would recommend Enterprise in ROC for running a decent service!

I have very positive experiences with Enterprise as well. Pretty new cars and decent rates. The only complaint is that they sometimes try to give you a lower car class; otherwise it is a very nice company (no issues ever).

Best rate for a recent trip. When I got to the enterprise counter they told me my full size car that I had rented was not avl after waiting 10-15 minutes they finally gave in and gave me an upgraded vehicle. I reserved a vehicle with GPS to only find out that they handed the GPS to me over the counter in a bag. Not a problem, but after getting to the vehicle I found that it was broken and would not stick to the windshield.. Ok. Not worth going back to fix. Lastly the GPS it seems had not been updated in the past 6 months to keep up with some of the new highways in the area. Not worth the $7 per day..

I have always found the service at Enterprise to be excellent. As soon as they have a corporate loyalty program, I plan to switch from Hertz.

Currently in ROC right now. Weather is very nasty and rep upgraded me to a Dodge RAM HD "Hemi" no upgrade cost. Agent was very nice, tell "lindsay" I said thanks :)

Do all student alumni associations do this? Do you know how to find out if a specific one does? (I'm an alum of Cal Poly-SLO and Georgetown). It would be awesome not to have to pay $15 per day each time I rent a car from Enterprise.

you know I think its a hit or miss.

I read it on their web site and I stood my ground even after the sales rep tried to charge me for it.

I am about to book a trip to Phoenix Arizona where I'm doing a road trip to Las Vegas and then onto Southern California and from what I understand they are not so quick to waive the fee... which is double what it was in NY to begin with, but it doesn't mean that I won't battle with them at the counter!
