The Holiday Inn credit card from Chase offers 15000 points upon first purchase, and that's enough for 1 free night in many locations.

The even better portion of the offer is a $20 cash credit upon first purchase. This appeared on my account even before I received my first bill! That's like finding a free $20bill.

No fee 1st year.

Cool. But, remember, the SPG card offers 12,000 bonus points which is enough for 3 nightly stays in some hotels; 2 nights in others & 1 night in a few really nice ones. :)

Get both. I did and received all the benefits described by philemer and Reindeerflame.

As recently as December 2006 the Priority Club VISA offer was 30,000 points. Unless you have an immediate need for this card I would wait and watch to see if the offer returns.
