How can I tell if LH flights on an A340 are equipped with the new business class? In particular, the LAX to Munich sector. Thanks

You'll be able to enjoy the new C on LAX-MUC unless there's a last minute aircraft change. :)

In addition: All A340-600 have new C.

According to Expedia, the flight I'm on seems to be offering both First and Business class (first row of business is row 3) and as far as I can see the A346s (according to seatexpert.com and the LH site) don't have First. The LH website (dummy booking) says this flight is operated by A346. So I'm puzzled as to what equipment is operating the sector. Any other suggestions? My flights are on 8 April LA to Munich and 15 April on the return.

no they did not! LH has 14 A346, 10 which were their inital order in a C/Y configuration and 4 "newer" ones that have F/C/Y...
