Ok i know there was a post some time ago but I want a new update and something explained if possible.

Is the Allegra lounge the same as Swiss arrival lounge??

What do they serve for breakfast in the Allegra lounge?? Is it hot buffet??

I am Star Alliance Gold (BMI) and will be transit EU to EU and in ZRH from 0630 til 0950 . I would like to take a shower and get some breakfast. Ive been to Star Gold lounge many times so want to try the Allegra. Where exactly is it ?? I am C class all the way with LX so will I get in ??

Also what does the Swiss arrival lounge offer ?? And where is it ??

Thanks in advance

Hello Dellas,

the Swiss arrivals lounge is the former Allegra lounge.

They do have a breakfast buffet, nice showers and polite staff.

It is situated right after the passport control on your left, before baggage claim.

Travelling Swiss C does entitle you to a visit!

Enjoy!!!^

But shouldn't he use a departure lounge as he is in transit? Or don't they have showers?

I personally prefer the Star lounge as it is bigger and air-side (with shower as well). The Arrival lounge has a small breakfast buffet which is a + and is quiet with nice bathrooms.

If you don't need a visa, you won't have any problem getting through the passport control. After using the lounge, ask the lady to get you back through passport control, you won't have to queue.

Im EU passport so not a problem. I will have over 3 hours so will have plenty of time and the breakfast does sound appealing. So I will try it. I have been in the Star Alliance lounge and I do like it alot but just fancy a change. Thanks for the info re:: getting back through passport control.

Don't worry about the passport control when 'leaving' Switzerland. I have never had more than 5 people in front of me, even during rush hours. And if you go back around 9.00-9.15, which is well past the 6.55 rush hour, I guess you can just walk up to the passport check.

Hi the guy in the Swiss arrival lounge actually took me through to passport control and I did not wait at all.
