Other European Frequent Flyer Programs - Security alert at PRG yesterday
Flew out on the 15:00 AMS-PRG flight yesterday, when the aircraft landed we were informed that there was a potential bomb treat at the airport and the airport was closed. We parked up by the cargo area and were told the wait could be at least 2 hours. An hour and a half later buses came to pick us up and after a quick walk through passport control the luggage was waiting on the conveyor belt.
I never did find out what happened, I assume it was a false alarm, perhaps someone left a bottle of water unattended or something. Does anyone know what caused this alert? Also is there anything that would make Prague a terrorist target? (like, for example, ETA in Madrid)

It was a bomb threat (http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/01/17/europe/EU-GEN-Czech-Bomb-Threat.php). I was inside the airport as it happened and had a delayed flight out as result. Wrote about it here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7037229&postcount=12

This may not be a factor in this situation, but Prague has been notorious for facilitating extraordinary (extrajudicial) renditions of terrorism suspects on behalf of my government
I've even posted at least once about a person being seized at PRG and taken overseas without proper judicial proceedings. IIRC, I mentioned or should have mentioned that parts of Sweden's government were involved in that.
Perhaps our very own Gnopps will get to witness that one of these days too. :D
