Hilton HHonors - Hampton Inn, Buena Park, CA... any issues?

I'll be staying there for the Anaheim NAMM show this weekend.

While I have not stayed at this HI, I have stayed dozens of times at the ES just down Beach Blvd. I am familiar with the HI location and although it looks pretty tired, I saw a banner hung on the outside of the building about a year ago advertising remodeling/upgrade. The neighborhood is blue collar and while not overtly dangerous, I would be cautious at night. I have been hassled walking down Beach in daytime in that area.

If you like Korean, there are plenty of BBQ joints in the area, with my favorite right by the HI - Aria is in the strip mall right behind the Fuddruckers on the corner of Beach and Orangethorpe.

Let me know if you want any other dining or other advice.
