American Express Membership Rewards - MR options to MR upgrage?

I currently have a large amount of MR options points from Amex Blue. I also have a Amex Corporate card. If I open MR on the corporate card and then link the other card will the MR options points "upgrade" to MR points?
If not, is there anyway to convert these points to MR points on a 1:1 basis?
My ultimate goal is to get them to Continental and I don't want to do the 2:1 transfer on MR options if possible (I looked into other conversion routes and none were better than 2:1).

Found the answer and thought I'd post if anyone else was wondering.
The Blue card can no longer be upgraded.
It can, however, be linked to any charge card that is enrolled in the basic MR program. The link fee is $10 (this is on top of the $40 annual fee for the charge card MR program). Linking the two cards will convert the existing options points into the more valuable traditional MR points.
