Hilton HHonors - mycokerewards 5000 Hilton Honors points award (2007 - Now Expired)

What is the possibility of getting 2 credits for a 4-night Chicago Hilton stay by making 2 back-to-back reservations for 2 nights? Hmmmm....if not, any suggestions????:confused:

Not gonna happen. Consecutive nights are counted as one stay regardless of the number of times you check in and out. It is pretty clear in the HHonors TOS.

What can you do? Completely switch hotels after the first night...then you'll have 2 stays & 2 nights credit.

You have to switch to another hotel to get credit for a second stay. No way around having to leave one hotel and check in at another, no matter whether you slice the reservation into halves or quarters or whatever.

Anyone have trouble getting these points credited? I have waited 15 business days for notification from HH (redemption coupon says an email will come from HH in 7 to 10 business days), and no word. I sent an email to the (mycokerewards at hilton dot com) address 2 days ago with no response. I already have posted the two required stays since redeeming. I want my points... this is getting annoying! What more can I do besides wait?

The two times I redeemed this award, the bonus points posted at the same time the stay did: My receipt from the hotel at check-out showed a total that included the 5000 pts, but not itemized out

I had the same problem I contacted mycokerewards and had to email them twice with the dates of my stays to get the 5000 points.

An HHonors rep is supposed to send an e-mail (from the mycokerewards@hilton.com account you quoted) indicating that the promo has been added to your account -- that is how the reward is applied specifically. In my experiences, this had only taken a few days the first three times I redeemed for this award, but the last time I did it (last week), the e-mail took nearly a week to arrive.

its not normally my first choice
but i remembered that i got one of those 5k hilton mycoke rewards bonuses more than a year ago

so the points for both stays posted within 48 hours
(much faster than my marriott stays, one of which still hasnt posted)
but the extra 5k hasnt

so i sent a reminder, will see if that last reward is still linked to my account

If your reward was in 2007, you may be too late to get the reward.

I thought the same thing....Hilton awards are back with Coke rewards? Yeah, but no such luck. Darn it.

I thought it was a new post. Took a few minutes to figure out it was an oldie being brought back. Oh well.

I also participated in this reward way back in early 2007. I have also been a little slow in making my two stays and had been afraid of this expiring. In fact I was thinking of making my second stay this weekend. So, this is real great that someone brought this up and made me dig into my files.

When I submitted my points for this award I got an email and a file that generated a most colorful certificate and the Reward. Nowhere on that certificate does it give any expiration date. Hmmm.

I have even managed to save that email and reading closely it states that the coupon expires 12/16/2010!! I think that clearly means I have almost 2 years to get that second stay. (I better make a paper copy of that email).

So, I don't know where that stuff about one calendar year came from earlier in this thread.

I would take that to mean if anyone still has not completed this promotion to earn their HH points, you may still have time, as I can not see where it is expired!! Horray!!

I think it will really help if you can find the copy of the certificate they sent and also the email you got when you cashed in your points for this promotion.
