The HGI at PVD opened about a year ago, but you would never know it, from the condition of the rooms
Thought the rooms were a great size, loved the free high speed internet access, but . . . I was here to get a good night's sleep. It wasn't going to happen.
Lumpy, cheap, poor quality foam/polyster pillows.
Scratchy, coarse linens.
Nasty brown, thin, polyster blankets. (though thankfully a top sheet to cover the nasty blanket)
Dirty bedspreads (the kind where you have to use your foot to scrape off the bed and kick in to the corner because you wouldn 't want to touch it).
I typically stay at Hamptons or Hiltons, this was my first stay at a HGI.
If HGI is not trying to keep up with the "bedding" wars, they have nothing to worry about because they haven't even tried here.
