Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Can PPS desk help in lost baggage on SQ-OZ itinerary?

Hello,

We flew SQ C SIN-ICN connecting onto OZ J ICN-SFO. Due to late arrival of SQ into ICN, we had a tight connection (36 minutes). We lost bags and given OZ office in SFO is closed until Tuesday (OZ does not operate into SF on Monday), was wondering whether PPS desk could assist in providing update? I did try the generic baggage service at SQ (62244243) and they are unable to provide an update other than saying that they delivered the bags to OZ in ICN.

Appreciate insights.

Unfortunately you need to deal with OZ (as the final airline in your itinerary). Perhaps you could try contacting OZ in Seoul?

Thanks Kiwi Flyer! OZ in ICN claims that it has not received bags from SQ while SQ claims it has delivered. Of course, will call ICN again in few hours. Thanks again!

It is an IATA rule that pax deals with the last airline. It is up to the airlines to sort out between them but the dealings with pax are clear on this (precisely for the reason to make sure there is a point of contact).
