Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - nye fireworks in Melbourne

Just wondering if someone can tell me where the New Year's Eve fireworks are in Melbourne and which hotels would offer a good view?

I saw them along the banks of the Yarra, although the real action is closer to the station on Flinders street... They were ... all right, I guess. Pretty cool to see fireworks shooting off a building though.
