I found dozens of threads on the best hotels in LA, but which has the best pool, within 25 miles of LA.

Thanks!

The W is in a relatively quiet location in a nice area, the pool is not a roof top pool or on a terrace. It is surrounded by greenery and flowers. There are nice cabanas and lounges. It is the most "resort" like of all of the LA options.

The Sheraton Santa Monica Delfina has a nice, albeit small pool area. Nice, but probably not the best option possible.

Not sure what makes a pool "best"?

1) Hot Starlets, on display for local casting trolls?
2) Hot guys for same?
3) Comfy Cabana?
4) Great poolside food?
5) Lots of rooms for kiddies and allow inflatable toys?

The Mondrian pool is amazing. The hotel is too pretentious for me.

I believe the restaurant at Asia De Cuba is where they filmed "LA Story" with Steve Martin.

I personally think the pool at the Farmer's Daughter Hotel is quite fun. You will find a healthy dose of character around that pool...

Thanks, I am thinking just a nice size pool, with a decent surrounding (not a view of the car park) with good comfortable seats etc...

Mondrian looks good but really after starwood...

In that case...

Stay away from the Le Meridien Beverly Hills

Westin Long Beach is not too bad, its in downtown LB but its near the Queen Mary, harbor, etc.

Also avoid any of the four points properties.

I'm assuming too that the St. Regis Monarch Beach is too far away?

Your best bet is probably the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica - decent pool, near the Santa Monica pier and promenade and the beach of course!

W Westwood pool no good? They have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment, so could get a fabulous suite for $250 a night.

I have a simalar question-Which of the LAX Starwood's has the best pool, and would it be swimable in January?

I believe that the W's pool is heated, and so it would definitely be swimable in January for someone from Cleveland (I grew up there); highs tend to be in the high 60s, low 70s. If you're looking to do laps, however, it's probably not your best option (although if you're really into swimming you can buy a day pass to one of UCLA's pools)

OK, but I was looking specifically for a nice pool amongst the LAX hotels...
