I'm heading to phoenix in two weeks, and bought a orbitz hotel/car rental combo (which im beginning to regret..) with the car rental being through Alamo. Anyways, after booking I realized I forgot to get a GPS navigation unit, so I called alamo and was told they couldn't make changes to the reservation, and I'd have to call Orbitz, okay, not a problem. I called orbitz, and rep #1 didn't know what a GPS nav unit was, and rep #2 told me that the only changes that can be made were to the dates or car type. So, my question is, Will I be able to request a GPS nav unit in PHX while picking up the rental from alamo, or am I completly locked in by orbitz, and should plan brushing up on my map skills?
