KLM Flying Dutchman - PE rollover

I have a question from my dad regarding his PE. With the changeover in October, he now has it until the end of 2006. He has now surpassed the required 75000 miles to re-qualify (90,000 I think it is). Does this mean now that he will have his PE until the end of 2007? Furthermore if he gets another 60,000 (making that a total of 150,000) before 31st December will this mean that he has it until the end of 2008? I think this was the case with the old FD scheme, where his FD service points just kept accumulating, and every year 36000 (I think) were taken off…

My understanding was that rollover PE's has to earn 75,000 in the year before their card expires to keep their benefits.

All and any accummulation in the intermediate years is ignored.
