Qantas Frequent Flyer - Seating advice 767 PER-HKG
Dec 20, 06, 2:28 am
I called QF today and requested seats in exit row for PER HKG 19.2.07. I have just checked and have been allocated 34A/B. Looking at the seat map on qantas.com, am I right in thinking these are bulkhead seats and so don't necessarily have extra leg room? I originally had 24E/F allocated, would these have been better?
Thanks in advance.

OK, just called QF, they assured me that row 34 was NOT a bulkhead, yet the seatmap (http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/763-25J204Y.pdf) indicates that it is... Am I looking at the wrong config for the flight - QF67, PER HKG 19 Feb 2007.

I believe you are looking at the right map.
Looking at some other sources, they show Rows 34 and 35 as being exit rows.

You are certainly looking the the correct map. Row 34 is definitely a bulkhead.

Unless you are over 2 meters tall you should find enough room there. The main differences with row 35 is that the row 34 tray tables are in the arm rests (so there a little less lateral room), row 35 has a little more space to strtch out (under the seat in front) and with Row 34 you will not have anyone reclining into you.
