I've looked online for something interesting/fun/relatively inexpensive to do for New Year's Eve and such an option doesn't seem to exist in San Diego proper.
So far, all I've come up with that meets my criteria is Escondido's First Night...but that's nearly an hour away from where I live and I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of driving that far on that particular night.
Does anyone know of anything similar happening closer to San Diego itself?
